WWow it's been a while!
I'm sorry for being so quiet recently I've been super busy!! I've moved into my new flat, which has been really difficult for me and I'm still struggling to come to terms with it. I was super excited about having my own space but I didn't realise how hard it was going to be living without my ex. I know he's treated me horribly but he was my best friend for 3 years and its really difficult not having him in the next room. I'm sure once I settle in a bit more ill be okay. Anyway here is what it looks like so far! I've still got some unpacking to do and I need to put some nails up to hang up all my arty bits so dont judge me for the mess!
It's a bit of an odd layout but i really like it's quirky character. When you go through the front door you have the bathroom directly on your left, then you go through to the bedroom. The living room is past that, then the kitchen, then this Little space that I'm going to turn into Skyler bedroom. My landlady is my aunties best friend so it's really easy for me and she's planning on moving the door to the front room (since the courtyard goes round the side) and the n knocking down the bathroom wall and fitting a new bigger shower. So it's all a work in progress at the moment but I'm pretty happy with it. My family have been incredible in helping me out, I've got loads of new furniture for the place which has helped me settle in faster as it feels like a home. My mum gave me a cushion with a picture of Skyler as a puppy printed on it as my house warming gift which is super cute. Skyler was a bit confused though.
Skyler has settled in quite nicely, the courtyard is pretty big and she loves running around in it, although the weather here has been terrible so she's not been going out as much.
I've also been really busy at work, working really hard in my manager training. I'm slowly getting the hang of it, there's a lot to learn and a lot of responsibility and I've made a few considerable errors but im learning from all my mistakes!!
Hopefully ill get the internet hooked up soon and ill be back on here before you know it!
