I kind of wish I were a better writer. Then I could right short stories where I portray my friends as I see them, and play up either their good sides or their flaws as I see fit. It seems like it would be a good way to exercise frustrastion against people who I don't really like, but come into contact with becuase of their proximity with people I do like.
Something like...
"And WIll's response was a bit of an extreme sentiment of hatred, but it seems that he said it more to make an obscure reference to a Middle Eastern terrorist group than to vent his strong feelings on the subject."
Only better than that cause I'd create a situation to refernce, so it wouldn't be so vague.
It would be fun.

life would be easier if the kind of proximity people you describe didnt require so much effort.
