So, the party this weekend was fun. i love outdoor/camp out gatherings. I don't know how long I stared at the fire, but it was great. And I had a chance to talk and have one of teh best conversations ever with my boyfriend. I haven't laughed so hard in months. He's great.
A few highlights of the weekend:
Enough people that I knwo came for us to set up our own camp area. Good food. Good people. Good times.
I had someone listen to me spout incoherent anthropological theory.
Mauricio's set rocked and wathcing people dance to Gamma Goblins was amazing. They were all so cranked up and just went insane.
Sadly, after three hours of sleep I had to drive two and ahlf hours back to Portland, and after a quick shower have dinner with my boyfirend's family. I was really sleepy, but they're cool, so I don't think anyone cared. It was a little strange to be in a German restaurant given I'm a vegetarian, but it was still tastey.
And the day ended with Coyboy Bebop. All in all, a wonderful weekend.
