So let's see...second verse same as the last 20-million. We lost our new drummer again. Well he kinda half quit and we kinda half pushed him out. He really wanted to do a lot more touring than we were ready to do. The other band he joined is decent but pretty bland. I've seen them 3 times and couldn't remember a riff of theirs to save my life and can't even remember what they sound like. I won't mention their name but I think he picked touring over doing something more artistically satisfying but then again I don't think he was all that into it. At practice he played kinda half-assed on the newer stuff...whatever. We just need to find the right fit...which kinda reminds me of my love life. I don't even know where to begin to even find the right fit. I don't work with anyone I'm interested in...being a chubby guy I'm not comfortable with just talking to women at bars and such. I've always figured that going to a good show might be a decent place because I'd figure they'd at least have similar musical tastes but there haven't been too many good shows lately. Too many hipsters...which brings me to my next point.
I've spent my whole life trying to do things the right way and be honest about everything. I don't always succeed but I try. I'm just losing all patience for fake people that do dumbass things like wear Iron Maiden shirts but never listen to the band or now wearing red and blue bandana's is all popular. I guess I didn't grow up so far removed from the seriousness of this to find it cool or ironic. I still know people involved in lifestyles that are getting killed over this stuff. Don't get me wrong...gangs are retarded but middle class white people playing dress up in gang chic really aggravates me. I'm the kind of person that doesn't like seeing people wear skate shirts unless they skate or band shirts unless they really like the band. Hanging out in SF is beginning to make me feel like the pissed off kid that studied all night to get a B on a test only to learn that half the class got A's because they cheated. No wonder I'm having a hard time trying to find somebody interesting with intelligence and integrity...I'm fairly certain they don't exist any more.
Well I did get to see Pat Martino this month. He's my favorite jazz guitarist. It was also nice to see so many people there and hear that all of his shows were either sold out or nearly sold out. Even that just reminds me of shit that bugs me...everybody says they listen to jazz but you'd be hard pressed to find more than 2 jazz cd's in most people's collections.
Thank you to everyone that wished me a happy birthday...I was quite surprised that anybody would notice. I didn't do much...it was in the middle of a super busy work week but I never do anything for my birthday anyways. I will be buying myself another guitar amp so maybe that'll count

The whole hipster thing in NY was out of control about two years ago -- not too sure ifs just died down or if I just got used to them. I do hear its even worse in Silverlake and SF than over in Brooklyn.

hey thanks for your message. i realized that i apparently did something wrong after my posting was blocked from being commented upon. i better not get banned, that would be totally lame. i was simply pointing out a seriously noticable fact that there are no actual plus size models on the site. people have a real misconception of what plus size is. size 12- is NOT FUCKING PLUS SIZE - i am size 16- i am not huge, but i am plus size. not one model is as big as me, i checked before i made the statement. people need to stop hating the messanger.
