Nick Cave was amazing last night. I'm hoping I can function on my 4 hour of sleep. Apparently I have a morning of lectures on Prosthetic gait and post operative and early management of a transtibial amputation. This should be some what interesting, knowing how my brain works on lack of sleep.
ragdoll:
Oh wow, I adore Nick Cave!! I've wanted to see him live for the longest time.
Eep.. yeah early morning lectures of that persuasion, on so little sleep, would make my head hurt frown I hope all goes smoothly for you.

xo
darqkloud:
My brain barely works when I haven't been sleeping.
So sad really, frown

Question Time!

If you had to fill out an application with 4 places you'd be willing to relocate to for work, what would you put?

currently my thoughts are (in no real order)
-Denver
-Twin Cities
-Chicago
-SoCal or Lexington, Ky

I have less than a month to decide where I might want to relocate to (if I even want to relocate) decisions, decisions, decisions

I've been in California a whole 3 1/2 weeks and it's already time to start deciding where I want to move for my residency in January. My choice so far are Los Angeles, Chicago, somewhere in the pacific Northwest, pittsburgh, twin Cities (although the likelihood of getting a residency is slim to none) or Lexington Ky. I should start applying in the next couple of...

Rent along "L" routes run between $600. and $1500.

Depends on how dangerously you want to live.

In three weeks I'll be a resident of Lake Forest, CA. I think my apartment is way too small for the amount of stuff I own so I'll do some measure cleaning out in the next couple of weeks.

I'm also currently working for the government and I love it. Really I'm so confident in my future and that I'm doing what I should be...

Less than a month till my move back to California. I'm so excited, yet a little sad as I've been having a lot of fun in Minnesota. I played my first ever game of softball and managed to score 2 points (it was a shocker to everyone including me) I've also started my Prosthetic Tech clinical, it's nice cause I'm working under a practitioner who...

Hmm...first, welcome back (soon)!

Second: we may be able to work it out, depending on what you need. I could possibly temporarily store some stuff in the Valley at a friend's if need be.

I'll be taking and posting pix starting tomorrow sometime, so check back and lemme know if anything catches your fancy. smile
chi:
I haven't heard of that complex before, but google maps show it just around the corner from me. Its a nice area IMO.

I've had so much fun in the twin cities, I've decided to postpone my move for a month. I'm currently working at a local hospital doing my clinicals. I'm so glad to be finally working them, since I'll be working with patients in classes come August. I'm trying to ignore the nerves and stress that should go along with a move and intensive learning situation,...
