New medical marijuana bill passes, Ritter says he'll sign it!!!

DENVER - Colorado lawmakers are sending to Gov. Bill Ritter (D-Colorado) a measure regulating the state's medical marijuana industry and he indicated to 9NEWS he is inclined to sign it into law.
The State House voted 46-19 on Tuesday afternoon to approve House Bill 1284. The legislation requires dispensaries to be licensed and monitored throughout the state but also gives local communities the ability to ban them.
Individual caregivers would still be able to provide marijuana to up to five people wherever there's a ban.
Medical marijuana advocates argued it would restrict chronically ill Coloradans from having access to a Constitutionally-protected drug. Lawenforcement officers had also criticized the measure as legitimizing dispensaries which they do not believe was the intent of Colorado voters last decade.
Supporters of the legislation say it will help bring order to an industry that has exploded in the state over the last two years.
The measure also regulates where dispensaries can be located (no closer than 1,000 feet from aschool, much like liquor stores).
Lawyers opposed to the bill say they're ready to sue the state if the bill becomes law partly because of the provision allowing local bans. They also object to excluding non-Colorado residents from opening dispensaries and dispensary application fees which they say are excessive.
Combined with another bill seeking to regulate the doctor-patient relationships, lawmakers feel they finally have a grasp on the issue.
"We believe it's in as good a place as it's going to be," Ritter said.

Talk about screwy information misleads!!! I'd like to personally apologize for the misleading information I posted earlier which I will be deleting asap so there is no confusion between this truthful article and the last misleading one from no reputable enough sources as I thought they were. So sorry for any inconvenience again my dear readers!
Unfortunately the bill that many dispensaries and even caregivers like ourselves have feared has come to a end of dispute. This new bill has been passed and will be in effect asap now. Although I do sincerely believe that us the patients, caregiver, and dispensaries will ALWAYS find our legal ways around this issue we now have to deal with; there are already lawyers ready to begin their cases in respect to us that feel this was a very wrong turn to be made indeed. Although this is still one of the safest states still in my opinion for MJ it is seeming as though even as a Amended State as we are..California seems to have some better guidelines in line than we do in this state already...Hmmmmmm...Will we be able fix these issues and overcome this ruling through another view of perspective many may be asking??? Well, chances are yes since we never back down from our beliefs; but at the same time only time and patience through all these attempted changes to our Amendment 20 can tell. Although this doesn't affect us so much as the money hungry dispensaries around this state as much; the limitation of 5 patient per caregiver in my humble opinion still won't affect how we legally run things now as we 3 here will just label each-other as caregivers for each other and then leaving us each with 4 extra patients to "care-give" for anyway...so if you do the math and you aren't in this state just to make money anyway...then why should this bother you as much after all right?!?! I mean even at the regular recommendation of your dr certification paperwork of 3 in bud & 3 in veg stage with a total of 6 plants per patient times the 5 patients you get to be a legal caregiver for equals 30 plants per caregiver and that not even considering the fact that some patients as me for instance are legally allowed to have double the recommended amount after all too! So yeah after the math and research...between us 3 legal caregivers in our household...we'd be allowed at the state minimum amount of 6 per patient is a complete allowable count of 90 freaking plants in our house for care-giving objectives if we each took on 5 patients each!!! How much more do you really need if your NOT in it just for money after all!!! lol.

3 in flower? That would not last me very long...they seem to have made it all so confusing and awkward. I hope you keep finding ways to subvert the bullshit.
