If people who ran for public office were forced to sit in a pit and be judged by a jury of their peers(that being us because we are affected by their decisions) and then voted whether they had done a good job or not. Do you think they would still do it? What if you were voted to have screwed up bad and were put to death because of it. Do you think people would still go for elections. I wonder if they would actually take their position seriously and give a good goddamn about everyone.
