What day is it?
Ah, yes ... Monday. Well, I fly to London on Saturday. I'm trying to figure out when I'm going to have time to do laundry between now and then; I'm not excited about the prospect of showing up in Europe with just a suitcase full of dirty clothes.
The girl came by last night. We went for a walk, ended up walking all around Santa Monica and Venice for about 2 and a half hours. It was good. It felt like a nice way to try to re-start things. We'll see how it goes, once I'm back from my trip. I missed her. She gives good hugs.
The day I fly back from Europe, my boss leaves for 2 weeks to help out at another hotel we own, in Miami, who are re-opening their restaurant after some big renovation project. It's going to be long hours and not much time off for me ... I better actually get some rest on this vacation, unlike last year.
