So I'm rockin' the turntables at the Bigfoot Lodge last night (as I do every Thursday from midnight til 2am), and there are a bunch of rockabilly & psychobilly cats hangin' around. I'm told some of them are in the Horrorpops and Tiger Army, but I didn't confirm that.
Anyways, got to talking to a couple of them, a married couple, and they live in London. Of course, we know several people in common, and they said they love hanging out at the Ship and used to hang out at the Elephant's Head a lot, but that the 'billy scene has wandered over to another pub, which I forget the name of.
We traded email addresses, they said to hit them up when I come visit so we can go hang out.
I love that kind of thing.
