ok... haven't been around the family in 2+ months, so i feel like i should be happy about being home for thanksgiving... instead, i'm counting the time till i get to leave and go back to my cramped hotel room in nola... i'm thinking i should feel guilty about this for some reason...

have you ever been to a city where the people are as nice as possible when dealing with them on a one to one basis... but are some of the most inconsiderate ever experienced when dealing with them on a non-personal, group level?
Lunch with... hmm... egh, that's tough. And the reason is, lunch dates are so awkward. With anybody who was impressive or interesting, I'd be worried about dropping food in my lap or eating too slowly/too quickly or whatever else. And with anybody not so impressive or interesting, well, why do it at all?
I guess I would choose either Bill Clinton, Diana Hampton (a former stripper who is presently sitting as a judge in Nevada), or SG's very own Missy. There are so many questions I'd like to ask all of them. I just think it'd be an interesting conversation.
As for what to have... I'm a gracious enough host to let the guest choose that; my only requirement would be that the place have decent vegetarian options.
