See the pic? That's Penny!
So I went to my sister's old house to feed/water her cats. She runs a no-kill cat shelter, so I'm talking like, 20-30 cats. Some of the cats get their own rooms because they've got HIV and ought not mix with the other cats. I make sure I check each cat and pet it and hold it if it will let me. I love them.
Well. In one room there was this prettyprettyprettypretty cat, with smooth soft fur, tabby and calico mixed markings, and when I came into the room she ran up to me, purrtling like crazy. I bent down and grabbed her, and she rubbed her face on my face like cats do and she licked my nose, purrtling all the while. Purrtle purrtle purrtle. When I put her down, she started "talking," rubbing herself against my ankles, and licking my ankles.
Now how in the hell am I supposed to leave a cat like that? I couldn't. So I STOLE her!
I called my sister to tell her I was stealing the prettyprettypretty cat. She was delighted I was taking her. Her name is Penny, and she was isolated because she'd been declawed and wouldn't be able to defend herself in battles with all the other 29 cats.
I love Penny. LOVE her. Who wouldn't? I can't keep her because I already have three neurotic cats, and adding another one to the family is going to upset the balance of life around here like nothing funny.
Soooo...if you or anyone you know needs a cat, please come visit Penny. She's spayed, has all her shots, is declawed, and is delightfully affectionate. Be prepared to fall in love when you meet her; she will effortlessly steal your heart.
