Halloween was fun. We carved some pumpkins and lordkalkin and I went down to the quarter. We people watched down Frenchman for a while and then went to the goth event at the "shmystal". They actually played a number of things that I liked including some Bauhaus. A couple of guys commented on my dancing. We got to see Damien right before we had to...

Ok, the traffic at the JAJO expo was pretty light but I still made $60 over table money. Granted table money was only $25 which is very low. $27 of that was friends and family purchases but the rest was all strangers.

We met some nice people and made some contacts, one of whom we will probably buy many clothes from in the future.

I...

I'm going to be doing my first craft fair on July 25. It's called JAJO and it's hosted by a local t-shirt and accessory company named Isoism.

It will be at Zeitgeist Multi-disciplinary Arts Center, 1618 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd between Terpsichore & Euturpe, from 11:30-5:00.

I'm going to be selling chainmail jewelry and prints. There is supposed to be one every three months so...

I get the little upcoming b-day updates from LJ and June just happens to be a busy month, so I always get a little ambushed by Jeremy's. If I'm doing the math right he would have been 26.

I got tied up with reading old journal entries for a bit but I made myself stop sooner than usual.

We're going out of town this week...

I've just started running a Vampire: The Masquerade game. It's only the third time I've ever been a game master. It's Rae's first time playing in an RPG.

I have been making alot of chainmail but I need to get into the studio more. I've just done about half of the underpainting for Rae's family portrait. I did do a little of the intro for...

I think Twilight is the first vampire movie that I've ever seen that I could not watch again.

It was a special kind of bad.
burntsolace:
Wow... I didn't think it would be that bad, then again I never saw it or read the books. I like my Anne Rice Vampires.
raziel666:
I have to agree with you.It was to 'wippy' for me and to much of a sissy movie

I'm 29 as of Tue.

We went up to my dads on sat. He tried to give me a puppy and actually gave me a package labeled "dog food" with smokables in it. And I split a cake with one of his friends having a b-day. One of this other friends gave me some second hand dark red docs.

Tue, we all went out for...

So the art's market was full so that didn't work out, I still don't have any prospects on a venue for painting sales.

I've been doing one or more jewelry sales a month on etsy. I wish there were still some smaller sci-fi cons in town.

The new domestic situation is working out well. Our routines are pretty sorted out now.

The new apartment rocks...

There is a leak in my studio but nothing was really damaged. The only two painting that got wet were already pretty marked up from Katrina. However there is a huge puddle right in the middle of my work area. I pulled out the wet ones and used the blow drier on them for a bit. I'm not sure if I'm going to try to...
