Just had a shower (bridal) last summer - I shower daily. My mother-in-law printed out personalized recipe cards and mailed them out with the invitations. She gave me a recipe book that they fit in at the shower and the guests enclosed the recipes in their cards. We've actually used a couple, it was a cool idea. They also passed a journal around for everyone to write their 'advice', or well wishes in, it's fun to read now.
