Good afternoon. Yes, I'm updating in the afternoon today. Why? Well, why not?
I'm excited because I just found out that we have off tomorrow. Don't know why, but the sisters gave us peons an extra paid holiday day tomorrow. YAY! That means that I'm not going to have to do EVERYTHING tonight before I go to bed, then go to work in the hot steamy hell that is PA in June these days (although tomorrow is July, which means, CAMPING MONTH), then hurry home to get the girls to go to a wedding rehearsal.
And, I just talked to a friend on the phone and they are stopping by later to bring me/us a surprise. Which adds cleaning the living room to my list for this evening, but since I can run errands tomorrow, it's not a big deal.
I have to start a list of things I can't forget to take with me this weekend. That just reminded me, I have to do something else! Ok, that's done now.
So, I just ordered the new SG playing cards. We are such dorks, we love playing card games, poker, phase 10, hearts. Can't wait to pull out our fun lady cards the next time we play!
What else is new? I'm still excited about no work tomorrow.
Oh, my friend and I dyed my blonde streaks blonder last night, so they are almost white. I love it. After the wedding I'm going to dye the ends of my hair black, and I might dye some of the blonde bright red. I love playing with my hair. The funny thing is that one person at work thought I had it done on Tuesday, another told me that it was shinyer and the other one who said something said to me "is your hair different?"
So, I don't know when we'll be back in town, maybe Saturday night, maybe Sunday, definitely Monday, but I'll have wedding pictures to share, and I'll finally get the ones from Clover's party posted, and the ones from SGNJ bowling.
Oh, and a question for you all before I go? Top or bottom?

Sick days are there to be used! Even by those of us who are fortunate enough to have mostly good health. The only problem with the system is that when I do actually get sick, I'm seized with horrible guilt trips about having already used up a sick day when I was perfectly fine, but happily that doesn't happen often at all.
It probably helps that I never get paid much at any of my jobs (I'm not getting paid at all right now. Go internships!). It's probably harder to be cavalier about things when money is on the line.
