Hello internet boyfriends and girlfirends!
Here are some things about me you may not know... I call it
(fuck photoshop; I have oldschool paint!)
Anywho, here it is:
-I picked the name "Nymph" because Pixie was taken. Pixie was my nickname in highschool, because I'm hyper and bubbley and I love faeries. I wanted some sort of faerie name, so I picked nymph! (I get asked all the time if it's short for "nymph-O". It's not. Get over it.)
-I was a go-getter in higschool. I was vice president of student council, captain of the cheerleading team, voted "Most Interesting Female" all four years, I was on the improv team, and the drama club, and part of the yearly dance showcase. I was also in my church choir, as well as the sign language club at my church. (I go to St. Francais de Sales church, and he is the patron saint of the deaf, so I signed the mass every week too)
-I was a cheerleader for 7 years. I coached Durham Dolphins, and Notre Dame Cougars, and I competed on Ultimate Cheer Panthers, Scarborough Titans and York University Lions. I miss it so much.
-French was my first language, but I can barely carry on a conversation anymore.
-my mom is my best friend and we have matiching tattoos. (the heart on the back of my neck with a mother holding a child; she has it on her ankle. It was her first tattoo at 52 years old!)
-my mom was a beauty queen and model. Miss Burlington, Snow Queen and 7th for Miss Canada. She sees all my modelling, and supports me in it. She even knows I'm on suicide girls, and although she doesn't always want to see the pictures, she supports what I do.
-before my current boyfriend, I was mostly with women. I considered the possibility that I may be gay, but out of the blue I fell in love with him. I am more sexually attracted to women, and I have had serious, long term relationships with wonderful girls, and because of this, a lot of people don't believe I can love a man.
Many of my close friends are convinced I am gay, and my "love" for men comes from wanting children. I disagree. I love who I love, and my heart and body tend not to discriminate.
-I became a vegetarian at the age of 8. I gave up meat for lent with my childhood best friend, and I stopped getting tummy aches. After about a year it became a moral decision, and I became more disciplined with my diet. When I was 14 I decided to make the jump to veganism, and I've been vegan ever since!
-I live with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). I have been medicated for it, aswell as anxiety and depression, since I was 12. I feel I need things to happen and be a certain way, and when they do not go this way, I feel out of control and I need to do some sort of ritualistic pattern in threes. I can get by when I am medicated, but if I miss my meds I have trouble leaving the house, because I feel I have no control in threes when I leave farmiliarity.
-anxiety keeps me from doing a lot of the things that I love, and because of this I miss out on a lot of amazing experiences.
-my dog, Toby, is my most favorite man in my life. He will never lie to me or hurt me, and he is always there to snuggle and comfort me when I need it.
-the first tattoo I ever got was a butterfly when I was 15. I didn't research where to get it done, and picked the place just because it's address was number 333. Because of this I got a shitty tattoo, which is now covered.
-I am in university for Environmental Studies, so I can be a professional hippie.
-I still live with my parents. I don't have the money to move out yet, and I won't until I'm done school.
-Japanese food is the best food in the world. I could eat avacado sushi every day and still love it. The best Japanese restaurant I've ever been to is Terriyaki House in Whitby, on Lupin Street.
-I wanted to be a suicide girl since I was 16.
-I was 11 when I dyed my hair the first time. It was supposed to be blonde, but since I have really dark hair it went orange. I liked the orange better. Shortly after, my mom helped my dye leopard print into my hair... then blue, purple, pink... the list goes on.
-I once ate an entire tube of pink bublegum-flavored toothpaste. There were pink bubbles in my vomit.
-I am left-handed.
-more than anything else, I hope to be a loving mother and wife one day. If finances will allow I hope to be a stay-at-home mom and housewife. I love to cook and clean and make others happy. I hope I'm half as good as my own mom, when I'm a mother myself.
-it's 4am and I'm sleepy, so I'm going to bed I'll add more as I think of 'em!
but before I go:
