The countdown has begun. Saturday I will be on my way to Austin, TX for a much needed vacation. All this snow is making me a very unhappy person. It makes my job suck and depresses me. I can't wait to go somewhere that has a normal temperature. I'm going to visit my mom who I haven't seen in over a year and will also hopefully get to hang out with my best friend who just moved to Houston last month. My mom wants me to look for a job there at one of the local miller or coors or budweiser distributors. I would love to live in Texas especially in a city as cool as Austin, but its just so hard to move away from friends. Since i've planned this trip I have gone back and forth weighing the positives and negatives of moving and I still can't decide what I want to do. It would be real easy for me to move since I don't have a girlfriend or any family holding me in Iowa, but I really hate trying to make new friends. Also, not really sure how long I could live with my mom. She's awesome, but seriously, i'm 28yrs old, I need to be living on my own. I would also like to have a job that would allow me to make enough money to afford my own house. My current job is ok, but definately doesn't pay enough to allow for that. I'm really great at my job and all my bosses love me and appreciate how good a job I do, its just the owner does things to make the driver's job more difficult. Maybe if i got a different route it would be better. who knows. I'm just rambling now, so I will just stop here.
