Right now i'm happier than a schoolgirl with a grade school crush. Just found out that thursday i won't have to work in ames and that i will be riding on a truck in des moines as well as friday. Then I work my last weekend in ames before starting my own delivery route on monday. Two reasons why i'm really happy. One, thursdays are the very worst day of work for me, they are usually a guaranteed 10 hour day with east hy-vee receiving at least an average of 500 cases just by itself. Now, i might end up having a 10 hour day in des moines, but I won't have to go to Cub foods which i wish would just burn to the ground. Two, after training my replacement this weekend, i wont have to work anymore weekends, but maybe once every so often for hotshots. I love my job today. Now i just wish i knew where my route was going to be.
I'm listening to a little Jack's Mannequin now and that is also making me happy. I have tomorrow off add some more happiness to my happiness sandwich please. Hmm, lets drink tonight. I think a few at west towne pub is in order.
