I'm writing a musical about physics. It's slow going. But seriously, it has potential. At least it's not the usual, you know? I hate doing the usual. I've felt productive the last few days, and I think I've figured out why. Since I didn't bring my heavy-ass desktop home with me for Spring Break, I've been pirating my brother's computer at every opportunity. Laptops make me productive. There's just something insanely satisfying about typing on a laptop. I think it's the higher pitch of the keys being pressed in. Or maybe that's just me. The only thing not ideal about this situation is that I can't smoke in my house. If I could have a cigarette right now, I'd be whipping out novels. I really should consider getting a laptop. Except I'm out of money again.

Back to my musical. It was my father's idea, but he can't write for shit. Motherfucker (literally, har har har) can't even spell! So I decided not to even let him attempt and have me edit. That would just make me crazy. Better that I actually write it and end up getting a larger cut of the future offer we'll be getting from Andrew Lloyd Weber. Or America's Funniest Home Videos. Either way...

I need to get back to being productive while I have this laptop to work on. I've decided I want to submit to several literary reviews, but I don't really have anything I would say is up to their standards. I'm desperate to write something about summer in the south, I think it's possibly the most beautiful thing ever.
