Well, things ended up working out not so horribly. I found a reasonable replacement for my writing sample, although it's not what I had planned on and that spazzed me out a little. And I'm an idiot and realized on the drive home after going to the post office that I hadn't signed my cover letter. DOH! Not good form, but hopefully they won't turn me down just for that. Believe me, there are a million and one other reasons for them to turn me down. My GPA, my second-rate writing sample, the fact that my transcript wasn't included in the package...so many reasons.
But nevertheless, I'll be optimistic that my enthusiasm is what matters and not my incredible stupidity. Hah.
I feel like I've been an absolute hermit this whole break. I only called my best friend today and I've been on Spring Break for almost a week! But I've just not felt like doing anything other than playing xbox and reading Goblet of Fire again. For the 100th time. (Not really but it's been a lot.) I've been a little sick for the whole break too which hasn't really added to my motivation.
On an entirely other note, my mom is forcing me to go get a physical. My brother's friend, a girl, who is 16, found out recently she has cervical cancer and had to get a section of her cervix removed. And my former roommate, Amanda, who is only 22, has the exact same thing. Not that my mom thinks I've CAUGHT cervical cancer or anything, but she was all worried because I haven't been to the doc since I was 18. I admit, that's more of my stupidity, but I'm always so busy! Doctor's appointments require time to sit and make the appointment and not only that but GO to the appointment, which could possibly be a whole day event! I'm not up for that! My girly parts feel just fine, thank you very much. *Hrumph*
I need a new man! That is all.
