Do you ever listen to a song on repeat for days because you feel like there's no way you could hear it enough? Do you play it simultaneously on various music players on your computer, burn it onto a CD by itself so it sits on repeat in your car? Maybe it's just me. I've been listening to one song for three or four days now. I want it to fill me, but I can't get enough of it. I don't know why. It plays in my head all day, even in sleep. It's not like the song makes me sad but there is such an incredible sadness in his voice. I read a review on Amazon.com that described it the best..."cryptic Southern Gothic." But not gothic like...you know, stuff I usually like. Like some of the lovelies on this site. I was trying to tell my literarily uneducated roommate about the gothic movement...and all I could say about it, short and sweetly, was melancholy passion. And I think that's pretty accurate, actually.
Things are okay here. I'm...more broke than I've been in a while but I'll catch up soon. I wish it was sooner but, soon enough. I had to go around and collect money this afternoon from various people that owed me. And I sold a couple of my video games...for $7!!!! Mother fuckers. Oh well. I needed the money more than the games.
I guess that's all. Seriously, I'm in a major rut right now.
