So, my right eye is doing much better now that it has been more than a week to heal. Today was the last day of training for working with the US Census Bureau, so by Monday or Tuesday, I'll be out in the field working again. Go me!

Just had eye surgery today on my right eye....it burns and is a bit stingy......but my vision has actually improved already in that eye and it's only the first day. Life is looking even better, you know 'looking.' Yeah, I know I'm cheesy, but oh well

I will not be there for the fair this year, but I can think about it for next year. It is just too much right now with starting a new job. We had a few other things planned for August and we have a vacation planned for early October. Next year is wide open so far. Lol.

So, another Tuesday come and gone.....It still feels good to be working again.
I'm all nervous about a consultation I have coming up with an A&R rep from Capitol Records....very exciting. we'll see what comes of that. Things seems to be going alright, slow and steady, but alright nonetheless.

I started a new position running a small convenience store in an office building in downtown Minneapolis on Wednesday and so far, it looks like it's going to be an awesome job. The hours are Monday - Friday 8-4, which rawks since I'll get weekends off again. Time to celebrate n'stuff!

I know, I've worked downtown before on many contracted positions the past 10 years. It just feels good working again is all.
So, another 4th of July passes. I spent the day with my friend's family and barbecued, even though it did get rained on at a certain point. We still all had fun and a lot of us still swam in the rain, it was pretty shweet!
