so i didn't get into the NY marathon this year (i've never been very lucky with lotteries), so i registered for the mahattan 1/2 marathon. but now it's in 2 weeks and there's no way i'm going to be ready.
i've been working almost non-stop all summer (which was/is a surprise!), which leaves me little time to run. i usually can get a 6-9 milers in on the weekend, but...today...i just want to goof off.
it's been wicked, wicked hot and my energy level for doing anything other than eating, boozing or watching movies has been at an a near all time low. now, i know i'll feel better if i run today, but i really just want to goof off and do very, very little moving around.
hmmmm...i hate working-out guilt!!!!

Yeah, today was the first time I haven't been out running in a while. Hell, for as hot and humid as it has been my urge to run is LOW.
Well, that and I went out drinking for like 6 hours and didn't even get home until 4:30 a.m.
