i am a domestic punk rock *demi*goddess.
this week, i've made, from scratch:
creole cornbread
tomato sauce with spicy italian sausage
risotto with sun-dried tomatoes and fresh basil
rice krispie treats with chocolate chips.
(and i say demi-goddess only because i managed to burn a pan while melting the butter for the krispie treats. there was something wrong with that pan to begin with, i'm sure...)
oh -- and a note to y'all -- rice krispie treats are easier to make in a NON-STICK pan.
again, thus the "demi" status.
but i still think i fuckin' rock.
did i mention i interviewed at Spin?

The stuff you made sounds solid -- tomorrow is my big cooking day, which I've been looking forward to.
And yeah, anything that has copious amounts of sugar needs non-stick, unless you're someone who enjoys scrubbing the pans!
