Last night at the momus show, I was standing around talking to Esther, and I hear a "hello". I look up, and it's momus! I say "wow, you remembered me!" and he said "yeah, you're nyanko james" (well, he said my real name, but whatevah). It was after all, the third time I've met him. (I once interviewed him for bust and it never went to print, fooey.)
The show was rocking but low key, since it was in Japan. I felt like I was in munchkin land, the audience was almost entirely short little Japanese girls. Teehee.
You owe it to yourself listen to his song "Pygmalion" (either his or kahimi karie's version). Its a song about a sex robot that takes revenge on her creator. Brilliant.
