I went to my second New Jersey Devils game at Prudential Center on Thursday. I made reservations with their restaurant 10 days before the game thinking I'll just eat and then go to my seat...but ended up staying in my restaurant seat for periods 1,2,and 3 
View from it was better than from my assigned $100 seat and I had WAY more space around me, soft restaurant chair and a ledge to lean on. It's hard to believe, but I could have purchased $10 or $20 ticket, went to restaurant around 6pm, had $36 all-you-can-eat buffet (food was outstanding, 3 star rest. quality if not higher) and watched the game from a set w/ better view and for 2x less than $100 ticket! check out the photo. The only catch is that you have to show up early since number of rink-side seats is low. Leave your jacket on the chair so no one grabs it while you get more food
