Funny the things you realize after a breakup. And I don't mean the normal I shouldn't have gotten involved with this person or next time I do it differently kinda things. I caught my self thinking about her and I started to try to figure out why. It wasn't because of an emotion or of a triggered memory but it was out of habit... For some reason that surprises me. Are we all such creatures of habit and routine that once I ran out of pressing things to think about that my brain started thinking about her because that's what I have done for so long now? After all the wounds heal and turn to scars, is that what getting over someone is, creating a new routine without them?
