A Clockwork Orange has been one of my favorite books (and movies) since I had to read it in a high school English class. At the time I hated to read, but I was so interested by the story and the use of language that I finished it in about 3 days.
I obsessively quoted it to the point of being just obnoxious. In college I would turn the movie on and do my calculus homework. Id spend the entire length of the movie trying to finish one problem, and I’d never have the right answer 😋 I actually walked down the aisle to Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. It’s just a story that holds a special place in my heart.
To this day I still cannot believe we were allowed to read it high school😋

I agree about the books use of language. I saw it in the cinema when 1st released and have never seen "Singing in the Rain" the same way again. When I showed the video to mt teenage daughter, she said 'That is disturbing'. I replied: "I'd worry if you didn't think so". Have fun.
