I broke my Gaydar.

At the mall today:
Her- a cutie I saw looking at me while I shopped.
Me- thinking she must have been looking at someone else.

In line to check out:
Her- (turning around) " I like your top"
Me- Thanks
silence
Her- "I just moved her so I am totally lost trying me get my shopping done"
Me- " oh you should make sure you try these stores......"
Her- "Thanks"
silence
Me-" Since you are new, would you like to get together sometime? I can show you around"
Her- silence

Cut to her checking out. Her sister (?) comes up. They don't realise I am at the register behind them.
Her- " some dyke just tried to pick up on me"
Sister- "ewww, gross"
