I watched V for Vendetta yesterday. I liked it more than i thought I would. I mainly watched it to see Natalie Portman. But, I ended up really likeing the story.
A family friends' daughter came to me yesterday to enlist me in her fight to get her ears stretched. She is 16 and wants to go from regular ear piercing to something larger. Unfortunaly I had to side with her mother. I don't believe in letting someone that young make decisions that can have long term consequence. I sounded like an old lady but told her " what if you decide you want to work for corporate america when you get out of school? " It is one thing to have piercings you can just remove and they heal. But stretching your earlobes isn't something you can fix over night. She looked so sad. I felt bad.
