Summer Party Playlist
I'm working on making a really killer playlist to play at pool parties and cookouts (both of which I am now extending an open invitation to all of you to come to) with a decent mix of Top 40, Hip Hop, RnB, Indie, 80s, Oldies, 90s, and various other genres that I like. The idea is to have enough on it that is recognizable by the multitude but add in some things that are fun or have a good sound/beat but less knowledgeable listeners may not have hear of yet.
This is where you all come in...
I have a fairly expansive music collection but I'm finding that in terms of Top 40, Hip Hop, and RnB stuff I'm woefully understocked. I just don't listen to it as much. What are some things I should seek out and add that are great for parties? I'm also interested in adding to the other genres as well, but I'm slightly better prepared there.
