So sad.
Whenever a new perspective on life is needed I will remember that somethings in this world are simply incomprehensible and that my petty indifferences are not worth it.
So--my new "new years resolution" will consist of only this; don't take anything for granted--ever.

In high school, I once got a chinese fortune that said:
"The only way to love something is to realize that it may be lost."
It's one of the truest statements I've ever heard about love and friendship.
Chin up, sweets. *hugs*
Ever read Dostoyevski's "The Idiot" ? He talks about not taking things for granted, and how, human nature being what it is, we always end up taking things for granted even when we intend not to: depressing, huh?
