Can't do it blindfolded...yet.
So we have a coyote problem. I just have horses and a hog, but our neighbors have a lot of chickens and goats...which any 'yote is gonna get a huge boner for. The other night I was out chillin with my dog and some beer like I do every night (country life is THE SHIT), and the neighbors started shooting off like it's Edson's Ridge (Ooorah?!!). Turns out they got no 'yotes but they are short a couple chickens and they found the leftovers from a goat. Soooo long in the short I got the go ahead from the game wardens to declare a jihad on the coyote population. So I've found my spot and my set up, need a scope for my Mini. Debating whether to take my Mosin (91/30) or my Marlin (336W) as my back up. Probably the Marlin; I can rack a lever waaaay faster than a bolt action, and the 30-30 is better suited to the shorter ranges I'll be dealing with.
Also, hey Texans, where can I go to go hunt some boar? Apparently my county doesn't have an issue of them that I know of. I've never hunted boar, but I would LOVE to. Also, if someone is looking for a buddy to hunt coyotes.

I'm even getting a night scope for my mini (early birthday present?).
