So I decided what I want as my first tattoo. It's a simple arrow pointing straight up, and it was the symbol for Tyr, the Norse god of war and victory. You might be like "angry white boy, of course you want a Norse symbol of war, har har har." But it's more than that, dear friend. Tyr was the one-handed warrior. Why do you think I'm "Knubinator"? Cause I have one hand! Baha! Anyway, I never served in the military, but it's not like I didn't try for five years, even getting attorneys involved. That's all I wanted to do, be a Marine. Fuck me, right? Anyway, being that, and as far as we've been able to find, most of my peoples come from either Norway or Germany, and somewhere in there and Irish guy gave us an English name (oroginally English family name, records show it migrated to Ireland in the 16th and 17th centuries).
So I feel that this is a tattoo that I can live with for a decent amount of time. Next question is:
Where the hell am I going to put it? I was considering putting it on the inside forearm on my right arm (the knub arm, just like Tyr!), or right shoulder, or on my side/ribs on the right side. I am taking suggestions, would prefer it be coverable with a t-shirt, for work reasons, but I'm considering everything.
Ignore the Third Reich business, just read the bit on Tyr.
