WOW...
So I can't bring myself to watch yet another romeo and juliet knockoff but I'm watching a cookie cutter romance and getting giddy as a schoolboy because the main characters are going to kiss in the next episode.
What the hell does that mean? And why the hell do I care if fictional characters are going to lip lock...
I dunno, I think this is the first time I've questioned it though. I mean feh, what the hell... I'm beginning to seriously question love, sex, friendship, the differences. So you can be extremely close friends, but not want to get physical with another person, and so stay friends... Or you can want to get physical, and be more... or you can have some delusional fantasy about someone and just have sex with them.
So essentially you are tricking yourself into sleeping with someone.. Whether it be love forcing you into the delusional state or your fantasy, your enabling the physicalness of the relationship. But what exactly is that barrier that people have to overcome to go the extra mile.
Essentially love has nothing to do with sex. There is a little internal limiter that determines how pleasurable contact with that other person will be and determines your ability to go further with them. You can absolutely love a person more then anything and feel nothing sexually... you can feel something sexually for someone and not love them.
So why are they so commonly associated? and why is sexual contact based purely on the QA meter of your libido...
Odds are half the people in this world if stuck naked next to a member of the opposite sex for more then a few days would probably break through that barrier... So why the hell is it there?
To make sure your offspring have a better chance for good genetics, that's the only thing I can think of. But if polygamy was more common, then it wouldn't be a problem now would it? Your genes would have all sorts of promise. And yet for most that idea is repulsive.
I don't get it, I don't think I ever will... Basically I'm down with bodily functions, pissing, shitting, and having sex are all bodily functions, so why be so guarded about them. I'll talk with you and take a shit, we can BS while pissing next to each other... and why the hell wouldn't I have sex with just about everyone...
It's a bodily function... what the hell? it's all barriers in the mind, they can all go away... so can that barrier that tells you who you can love, you can love everyone, fuck it, it's an emotion, who says it has to be a limited one? Love everyone, they're all human, they're all in this world with you, they all have the same feelings, emotion, shit they have to deal with.
Course loving everyone would destroy the value of hating someone, so it should be 50/50 love half the time hate the other half... it'll make the sex that much better.
