What's the deal with the 1970's, is it because it was when I was born?
For some reason watching programs from the 1970's and early 80's comforts me.
It's like watching sunshine.
But it has to do with outer space. The first lunar landing was 1969, so that wouldn't have to do anything with it, but it did shuttle in a new era of exploration in our minds of space flight in the 1970's.
And then in the 1980's the cold war set in and all was forgotten. Today people are more concerned about terrorism and self gratification then space flight. The #1 focus for this planet should be space flight. By now everyone should realize how fragile our coexistence is with the universe around us and how at any moment we could seize to exist from any number of foreign particles from planetary or gravitational shifts in our small little dust ball of a planet... instead we quibble over religion, or natural resources.
Throughout history the inability to adapt and think has caused many species to perish, on a global scale we will eventually meet the same fate as the species we conquered, stupidity does kill. Survival of the fittest, and apparently the fittest on this planet is too naive to survive.
I don't want it to, the imagination of the future and flower to be is much too beautiful to let perish in the stardust.
live... for the dream of humanity live... Show this fucking universe that we, exist... that we have enough fortitude to shine as bright as the stars, and live. Stop being so god damn selfish and live for the survival of humanity, prepare for the worst, enjoy the best while it lasts. . . But prepare! And explore what's out there, we've already tapped everything here, we should be living for what's, out, there.
But my text will be swallowed into nothingness as it's not popular enough to survive.
