Enough of True Tales of null and His Evo.
I hope you'll forgive my exuberance about the car. I researched it for a long, long time, agonized over whether I wanted to spend the money, and finally bought it. I've already been subjected to the abhorrent "penis extension" line of thought repeatedly, and it begins to grate. Anyone that knows me can tell you that I live simply and find the greatest joy in the simplest of things. I honestly pity anyone that can't see the beauty of carving through lush, verdant woodlands with Mount Baker looming over a long valley of exceptional dairy land. There is a beauty in losing yourself in the rhythm of the engine song, the swoops and dips and turns of the road, and the smell of good, clean summer air.
Today, though, I didn't take the car out at all. I read and cleaned and made TODO lists. Tomorrow, I will do more in the morning than most people will do before Wednesday. Then, I will return to my job, and a new week will start.
This week, I'm going to do everything I set out to do. Rather than expect a perfect week of ordered action out of myself, I'm asking for a string of seven perfect days. It's amazing how a little perspective can make the same thing seem so much less daunting.

I honestly think you scared a couple of drops of pee out of me the other night. But it was a good time.

It's worse when they're all your best friend and her boyfriend will listen to. I can tolerate them, really, but I have a limit, and today I was pushed nearly past it.
