After a blissful three-and-a-half day weekend, I must return to work. I know what they managed to screw up in my absences; now I just need to figure out how to fix it.
In other news, I watched three movies in the theater, read the current issue of mental floss cover-to-cver, watched my favorite Firefly episodes, and listened to a lot of classic soul this weekend. I guess it evens out.

Thinking has only ever either caused me trouble, or caused me to miss out on things I would have enjoyed. It's overrated.

When I decided to leave school in the fall, as soon as someone mentioned it as an option, I realized I had just been waiting for someone to do that, and when I was discussing the possibility with my friends and family I realized that all I was really doing was making sure they wouldn't all be disappointed in me for doing something I had already decided I wanted to do. So I just did it anyway, and they were all very supportive. it was a good lesson.
