school
So I survived my first day at school and I have to say that this semester is going to be hard...but in an awesome way!!! Both classes are very reading and writing intensive, which of course, I both suck at! Though it is all about stuff I like (video games) so I will muddle through!
My first class I get to write up a GDD (Game Design Document) about my very own game! I already kind of have a game in my mind but it is all just parts at the moment, but I have to have a cohesive idea in the form of a 2 page paper by, ummm, TOMORROW...ugh...oh well. By the end of the semester I am supposed to have a 50ish page paper about this game (I am secretly freaking out) I am happy though because my teacher seems really awesome and I think it will be a really fun class!
My second class has an awesome teacher as well but the reading and writing is going to kill me, I swear! *faint*
The first half of the class was introductions...I was feeling really antisocial because I didn't know anyone, and EVERYONE seemed to know each other 
that always makes me go back in my little introvert shell *sigh*. Then was a very short lecture and WE PLAYED FUCKING BOARD GAMES in class. one of the most awesome classes ever! My group got the Lord of the Rings board game which was really hard to figure out but once we did it was a lot of fun! By the end of the semester we have to create our own board game fun fun!

I try my best to stay positive in all ways!
Though it is really hard when the expression "when it rains it pours" comes true. Both my bf and I are broke, we were living off his really crappy unemployment and he got a call the other day that he had to reapply and now they are giving him the run around. We have no money for food, but even worse I don't have any money for my school books (we can always live off ramen 
I will survive!!! 
) on top of that his mom is acting weird (I would elaborate but it's not my place to talk about it) his computer isn't working, and we can not find his favorite monster (monster Khaos) ANYWHERE...now you have to realize he drinks that stuff like it is water (most would say it is really bad for you but for some reason he body now runs on it) and it is one of his few sources of happiness. So my poor bf is having a rough time of it especially since he isn't going to school so he is pretty much stuck in the house. Of course this reflects on me because I get stressed when he does, plus I have all this school work so I am stressing right there with him. UGH! Somehow I will find a way to buy my school books!!!
Enough bitching...I hate doing it and need to stay positive!!! *calm as a fucking Buddhist monk*
In other news my roommate moved in! I love her so much! she brings such energy into this drab apartment. So the moment she moved in she was like "there's a kegger going on across the street! you want to go?" *in my southern accent* Bless her little heart
I needed to get out. I usually won't go to keggers...I am a very socially awkward person, but it was still a lot of fun!
I also told her about my SG set and I swear to fucking god she freaked out about it (in a good way) more than I was. She was so super excited and called me a badass hahahaha!!! She was also thinking about becoming a hopeful (which would be awesome ) but she isn't sure about how her bf would react. I love SG but when you have something like she has you don't want to fuck it up over something like this. So we will see! (and yes she is super cute!!!)

I don't think I am done yet but I have to put it to the side for a while. lots of school stuff to do and I need to start working on my portfolio
I want to be a concept major (specifically for monsters) but it is really hard to get a job in so I think I am going to focus on being a texture artist for 3D models.
