I had a dream the other night that I was at one of my old houses, taking some groceries out of the trunk of my car, when a missile/bomb landed on me. I was instantly vaporized and died. I immediately left my body and was floating at a very fast pace directly upwards. I saw the rest of my house incinerated, room-by-room, in slow-mo.
Next thing I know, I'm dead. But, I'm at one of my other old houses. I walk in, and there's a bunch of other dead people just sitting in my living room, as if they were waiting for me. They looked -very- bored.
I was kind of excited to be dead, but also very confused as to why we all still had bodies, and why we were all in some other dimensional version of my old house. I didn't know any of the people in my house except for 2 of them. One was a girl I know who lives in Deland. Another was a girl I used to work with. She told me how she died.
She was driving along in some traffic, and some kid jumped in front of her car.. or she accidentally ran over a pedestrian or something. They broke her windshield on impact. She felt so bad that she immediately took a huge hunk of glass from her windshield and slit her wrists right then and there. She started crying profusely as she told me this. I felt bad for asking about it.
I decided to explore a little and walked around. Essentially, where ever it is I was, (I'm thinking a type of Purgatory), was the equivalent to 1985 Winter Park. It was kinda like zombie town because there was no traffic on the roads, and all was quiet. Desolate. Except, people were working in all the stores, and there were customers.
All I remember is that the only difference between being alive and dead was that I couldn't eat. I kept wondering about sex, too. I think that I could have had sex.
Anyway, it reminded me of being transported into a different version of the Matrix. Quite interesting.
