Brrrr!! This winter is gonna be cold, thanks to La Nina and global warming chaos and stuff. Makes me really miss Jamaica and the sandals resort I stayed at last year. Everyday I think about how I want to go back, if only I could master my teleportation abilities. Practice makes perfect as "they" say
Here's a sample of a story I'm working on. Let me know if you like it, be nice now kids. My writing skills are amateur. I'm working on a few stories, this one is my fav of the moment. It's called Deep Blue....the title and character names will more than likely change. I haven't let many people read it until lately, it's been coming along nicely. I will probably post some on my tumblr, and my new blogspot thingy
Opening paragraph:
"Tiaman was floating in the waters, dreaming. It was a strange dream full of faces she didn't recognize. She couldn't explain where she was it was a place she knew she had never been. In the dream she was riding an animal of some sort, along the base of the sea or was it the sea? The creature was strange, with hair flowing, blocking her eyes. She was riding fast and felt fear. Tiaman slowly turned around to look back, and saw a man riding behind her. She knew this man, he was not the one chasing her. He was shouting something to her his mouth and eyes wide, but she couldn't hear him. Suddenly there was a flash, and he started to fade away from her.
Tiaman screamed and woke up with a start, the sound of her scream in her ears and bubbles rising from her lips. She awoke in the same spot she had fallen asleep. Just close enough to the surface to see that circular light shining through. She hadn't had the courage to venture to the surface yet, but came here often to dream and explore. The ocean deep and wide, always seemed to have new surprises for her. Shells and plant samples, and often she kept different shells in her hair that she found especially beautiful. Lately Tiaman had taken to stringing long leafs and branches, wrapping them in her hair and around her body. She knew she would be full grown soon. Tiaman looked a lot like her mother. Her skin was a mixture of blue and purple, the colors seeming to blend and change according to the lighting. Eyes the color of jade stone and hair to match. Her hair was long and almost reached the tip of her fins. The scales of her fins were blue and purple as well, and speckled with red and gold. She had a split fin, that was especially long. Her people believed that a mermaid with a fin such as hers, had extra strong magic. Tiaman had always been able to feel what was going to happen around her, and she often had dreams that would come true. But this dream was confusing to her. Usually she knew that her dreams either would come true or else it was a dream that held answers. She wasn't sure what to think of this most recent dream. A thought came into her head to go and visit her friend Clauan. Clauan had better knowledge of magic, and Tiaman wanted a dream potion. She knew the ingredients for dream potions, but there were so many and she wasn't sure which one would be appropriate."

Threesome jokes? haha
I know, I get down every once in a while. I'm not gonna lie, I do often let my feelings be dictated by certain people. People I should never hand that kind of power to.
