Random Tangent---What!? Why are there X-mas decorations up already? Seriously? My neighbors must be really bored. Or maybe I am just a scrooge? I'm not the biggest fan of the "holiday season." I enjoy spending time w/ my friends and family of course, but I'm not religious, so the whole Jesus birthday thing doesn't do much for me. My Grandparents are super Christians, my grandfather is a pastor and everything, so I get it. I don't really judge, I'm just not into it. My Grandfather has given up trying to convince me, or convert me or whatever. From a young age, I've always questioned religion, and the way it makes me feel like I have to look outside myself for "the answer." I feel spiritual, just not religious. I enjoy studying religions, but I practice my own magic, and make my own rules. Cheating? Maybe....
So no offence to any of you who love the holiday season, and all that good stuff. Just don't be surprised when you drive past my house at night and see no lights, and maybe a pumpkin still left from Halloween. A true pagan! :p
