I have just got back from my mates Stag do. We went to the Nürburgring for the Adac 24 hour race. It was a long drive but worth it. I will have to go back and have a lap of the track myself. I was surprised how much i enjoyed a race when it was night and was great watching the sun rising over the track.
The circuit allow you to enter the track after the races on the Friday which i find such a good thing for them to do. I was jealous of the experienced Germans who had brought toy cars with them to race down the track.
I would like to thank all the really nice Germans we met who made us feel at home inviting us to join them with good beer and food. I have never seen people camp with a full fridge freezers pa systems and projector screens before. I found it brilliant.
Even when you walk out of the circuit you are met by great scenery and architecture. I could easily spend days walking around this area.
