AMERICA

"America I've given you all and now I'm nothing.
America two dollars and twenty-seven cents January 17, 1956.
I can't stand my own mind.
America when will we end the human war?
Go fuck yourself with your atom bomb
I don't feel good don't bother me.
I won't write my poem till I'm in my right mind...

hahahaha, great!                                  @1akbrian  it was originally used by the tribes but then it turned into a sacred plant for rituals in alternative religions such as Santo Daime, wich is very popular among hippies and naturalists. Its use is legal as long as you take it during the sacred reunions and stuff. It became very polemic when a guy used it, and during a psychedelic trip, killed a cartoonist for unknown reasons. It was on television during a long time in Brazil, but still, it's legal and it was called an isolated case. Basically the same as mescalina from peyote.

Like a patient etherized upon a table;
Let...

"How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candlelight.
I love thee freely, as men might strive for Right;
I love...

"They fuck you up, your mum and dad.
They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had
And add some extra, just for you.

But they were fucked up in their turn
By fools in old-style hats and coats,
Who half the time were soppy-stern
And half at one another’s throats.

Man hands on misery to man...
