Well, I've been gone for a week, and what a week it's been! I just got back from albuquerque, I flew delta via Altanta. It was my first time flying into atlanta, I can't say anything bad about the airport... it's nothing like the ft. worth airport.
My brother's wedding went pretty good. I was the best man, tons of pictures. I had plenty of new mexico green chili, goddamn do I love that stuff. It was mainly family stuff, but I got in contact with some old friends whom I knew when I used to live in Roswell. One was this girl who likes dolphins, that's how I remember her. She didn't come to the wedding because she wasn't invited so I didn't get a chance to see her in person, but I think I have her email address still. My friend Devon was in texas, but her boyfriend (not literally, he's gay) gave my new phone number to her. So yeah, it was good getting connections back with old friends. We also cracked that bottle of johnny walker blue label and got fucking drunk!
On a more personal note, I just got the opportunity of a lifetime. For my age, people don't get these kinds of job offers out of the blue... but I did. Last week, before I boarded the plane, I had a job interview. They offered me 10k more than I'm making now, with medical benefits at the date of hire(which is practically unheard of in my field in less than 1 year of hire). I usually don't mention personal shit like that because it's boring stuff, but I guess this wedding shit has gotten to me and it's time for a more settling period in my chaotic, hellriden life. Heh. I'm not giving up my scotch though.
My cat hated me for leaving for a week. It's one of those love-hate things, she'll get over it. Later people.
