A series of interesting video game happenings lately:
1. Toejam and Earl came in the mail today. I think Toejam and Earl is the greatest game of all time. My dad and I used to play that a LOT when I was young. Sweet nostalgia.
2. I beat Contra. Using cheat codes of course, NES games are HARD.
3. I beat Lifeforce. Yet again using cheat codes, games were a lot harder back in the day.
4. R-Type Final came out. I am a big fan of R-Type, and the graphics on the latest one are simply beautiful. It makes PS2s look like Xboxes.
--
I've had Toejam and Earl for less than 24 hours and have already played the crap out of it.
Creativity makes for great games.
--
I've been listening to death metal while drunk a lot lately. Death metal seems to be much better while drunk or semi-drunk.
--
Please write something zen for me.
Something from your own mind and not some quote of someone else.
I need some more eastern philosophy to think about.
--
Lost In Translation came out on DVD. I, of course, bought it the first day it was out. I've seen it three times in theaters, and I'm game for more if anyone else is!!
