Please keep in mind if you see a movie, which is more than likely asian in origin and with poorly translated subtitles, that speaks of people who have great gung fu (gung fu is asian, kung fu is american), who use swords, it is entirely inaccurate and should be taken as choreography and art. Although I do find such works incredibly entertaining.

I often wish I could tap into my chi as the Shaolin Monk did in Storm Riders and shoot fireballs everywhere.

I watched ghost in the shell the other day, again. That's probably my favorite anime movie of all time. The scene in which the main character is trying to rip that tank apart with her bare hands and from straining herself she rips her own arms off has some of the most beautiful animation in anything I've ever seen. Also, the scene in which they show her skin being added to her body and the excess flaking off, simply gorgeous. Should you be recoiling in horror at someone having skin added to their body and ripping her own arms off, here is the explanation:
She is a cyborg, esentially. Her conciousness, the "Ghost," resides in her body, the "Shell". It's a beautiful movie and I think everyone should see it.

What can I say. I've been at a loss lately.

Duel to the death was a kick ass totally inaccurate kung fu movie if anyone was interested. Ninja stars and swords, yeah!!

Suikoden 3. Need I say more??

Sometimes I wonder why she's always coming in when I leave. and I want to say something, to reach out and cause a ripple in time, for just a split second. I thought about giving her the piece of paper I drew all over in my many hours of boredom. But who'd want to see some Escher-esque work of art inspired by that which we all know as the desire to escape the reality that has confined us to do such things we instinctually should not be doing at all, even if that escape lasts for just a moment??

I know.
She could be my Hitomi.
and the Vision of Escaflowne could be ours.
