The highlight of this week was getting to be home! I took 12 days off to have a classic summer road trip vacation. I loved every single minute of it! I drove from Los Angeles to San Fran, took a day to look around down town and play at the water front! Then I drove up to the Redwood National Forest. I love that place so much. It is such a good reminder of what was here a long time before our existence. It kind of makes you feel small in the universe, but that is a good thing, because relatively your problems also become very small ;). After enjoying what could be argued as the PNW southern edge, I drove into Portland. I got to stay one night there. It was a very cute little city. I got to hit up the famed VooDoo doughnuts and they were delish! After that I headed into Seattle and beyond touching on Canada. :)
I really took my time on the drive up, so after spending an Amazing 4th on a mountain top (more on that later) I rocketed home in less than two days.
I had to immediately jump back into work and unpacking so I didn't have a chance to unwind again till yesterday. I definitely felt like the "at home" portion of my summer had started after spending a beautiful Sunday at the Playboy Mansion. Its been my weekend home away from home for so many years and I am so thankful to be a part of that nudy group of ladies in addition to Suicide Girls!!!
