well I got through a month without drinking. I'm not going to go all reformed addict about it but I do feel good as a result, although i suspect that's more a smug feeling of 'told you I could do it' than any measurable physical benefits. I went to see the awesome Malcolm Middleton supported by the brilliant Pictish Trail at the ICA in London last night and treated myself to a few beers. I'm back in the shire now where it's no less hot than it was in the city!

It's freezing here. Low 50s. Cloudy and windy. Very weird for this time of year. But I don't mind it. I hate the heat.
