We shall start with the good....
Last night was a great evening with my beloved Curiosity. She took me out and bought me a great big steak. Then we went to see MSI.. whom I had hardly heard of and never seen before. They put on an a BITCHIN' show. their front man really knows how to entertain. One of the best hard rock show sI have been to for quite some time for the sheer energy they gave off. Plus their base player is hella hot! Olnly sour note was a big dumb jock guys GF starting a fight for him to finish to stroke her ego... On the upside of that I did get to physicly restrain someone. I *heart* violance. After the show we went to Gingerman and sat in the window watching people leave the show while I enjoyed a Glenlivet. ahhhh so nice. Today was lots of work, not bad but it could be worse... I did end it all with a wonderfull dinner of cajun sausage, aspargus, porttabella and bell peppers... MMMMM
Now the BAD.
Lets qualify some of this first.... I work as a mechanic, I tend to get FILTHY. I work on large equipment and trucks... I often work outside and have to literally roll around under greasy trucks in the dirt. It sucks but one gets used to it. Plus I wear my filth and busted knuckles with a certain kind of pride, I feel it shows I work hard.
Anyway... yesterday I am off getting lunch and a kid in line in front of me asks his mother 'Why is that man so dirty.' She replies, 'He was working.'
'Daddy isn't dirty like that when he comes home from work?'
'Because daddy went to college, that is why it is important to work hard in school so you don;t have to lok like that."
There are not words for how pisse dI was. When the mom ordered I leaned over and told the boy his daddy worked so much because he hated him. It seemed the right thing to do at the time, but I digress...
WTF is wrong with people who think and say shit like that? For one, I went to college, but never mind that. College or not being a mechanic requires critical thinking skills, a wealth of knowledge and hands on experiance . Why do people insist on looking down their ignorant noses at anyone blue collar?
On that note you now all know why your local mechanic rips you off every time your car breaks.
Put of spite for ignorant people like that bitch.
