I didn't break anything... but I was working on a Grand Marquis that, after I pulled it into the shop wouldn't start due to a blown fuse that, according to the shop manual, is for the cigar lighter and nothing else. After getting that taken care of and getting a fresh key cut by guessing the key-code based off the old worn-out key, I parked it and the customer picked it up. He came back less than 10 minutes later complaining that the "brake" light in the dash was on, and there was a burning smell. Turns out one of his brake-lines rusted through sometime between when I pulled it off the hoist and when he returned to the shop, so I got to build brake lines for the thing, from the master cylinder to the junction-block near the rear wheels Add in one that another tech cut & programmed some keys for (chipped anti-theft keys) that started twice in the shop, wouldn't start at all when the customer came to pick it up, and then started right up after they left. And an F150 that was towed in because the owner lost the key... in 4wd, doors locked, wheels turned, park brake engaged (fun watching the tow-truck driver get that one off the flatbed)
